Inspired by the age-old spice routes traders would take through Southern and Western China, along with the seas around Singapore, Cassia is a fine dining establishment that pays homage to a revival of Pan-Chinese cuisine with a Western twist.
Using only the freshest ingredients found locally to ensure robust flavours in each dish, Cassia has created a specially curated menu that celebrates the blend of tradition cooking styles across the region with haute Cantonese cooking techniques. This handpicked selection of dishes represents a delightful fusion of East and West, including innovations like the Combination Platter of Peking Duck, Marinated Duck with Plum Sauce, and Green Mango Duck, and the Treasure Set featuring the Duo of Scallops and Flower Mushroom Soup, and more—all prepared and served under the watchful eyes of Executive Chef Lee Hui Ngai.
Here, even the interior décor is masterfully put together. With the restaurant’s 1880s colonial architecture as a base, lush fabrics in an artful blend of colours add to the innovative fusion that Cassia has come to represent.
